Don't know if this was mentioned already but Bourdain filmed a No Reservations episode here in Chicago. A chef friend said he went to Moto but I was pleasantly surprised to see a signed poster in Calumet Fisheries. The poster said "To Calumet Fisheries, outrageously good stuff, keep doing what you're doing." The episode will be airing Monday Feb. 2 on the Travel Channel, the new episodes start at 9.

Now to the food. It was my first trip down to 95th st. but definetly not my last. It was amazing. Smoked shrimp and fried scallops were perfect. Scallops had the perfect amount of breading and didn't overpower the scallop. Smoked shrimp had the best smokey smell and flavor. Fantastic. As my friend and I considered that an appetizer, we made the 10 minute drive over to That's A Burger on E. 71st St. to finish off our lunch. A Double with cheese with grilled onions and jalapenos. Delicious. It quickly became one of my favorites in the city. It was also my first trip the TAB. But also not my last. What a great day.

Hi,

FYI, there is a relatively lengthy thread about the time Tony spent taping here in Chicago this past August:

No Reservations in Chicago
