Spring closed

Just wanted to let people know we got a call that Spring is closed for a bit .. there was a kitchen fire last night. We had reservations tonight so they called about it.

Now we have to figure out a "nice" place to go that can fit us in last minute....

Did they mention how long? (I've got reservations next wednesday)

I didn't take the phone call, so I don't know the exactly what was said... probably worth a call to see. Sorry I can't be of more help!

They did say, by the way, that they would try to help us get reservations elsewhere ... which I thought was very nice of them.

Try opentable.com. I use them for last minute reservations, you can see who's got room at the time you want (of course not every restaurant is on there, but enough are).

Spring will reopen tomorrow (Thursday). Apparently, it is just rather "smelly" and "unpleasant" in the restaurant--so no major damage, which is good.
