    Including potential tax fraud! :)

Not that we know what has happened or what is happening with PP in Desplaines but from tax story angle this sounds similar to this article about Nick's Roast Beef in Massachusetts which was also CASH ONLY and been in business for many decades got caught for tax fraud/skimming with the owner convicted.

From the article below about Nick's which sound similar in popularity to PP:
"Nick's Roast Beef celebrated 40 years of being in business during 2015, an amazing accomplishment for small business owners/partners Nicholas Koudanis and Nicholas Markos. Its single location in North Beverly, MA is as noted for its sliced roast beef sandwiches as it is for the arduous navigation of its tight parking lot. The place is packed from 10:00 am until closing at 10:00pm and patrons not only rave about the food, they are evangelical about spreading the word globally."

Owner of Nick's Roast Beef sentenced for skimming nearly $6 million over 6-year period:

Meh, if it were Nick's Gyros, evade all the taxes you want. Just gimme.

Until we know more, let's not make unfounded assumptions based on an unrelated business (in another state, no less).

    That’s awesome.

    I still think it’s taxes. :)
