T-Bob's BBQ - Des Plaines

The NW Burbs are BBQ challenged, I've been to T-Bob's a number of times.

I still find the rib tips enjoyable in a pinch when I don't feel like making a trip into the city/southside.

I've also enjoyed the smoked corned beef sandwich.

Brisket is a why bother item IMO. The brisket served in the video isn't what is served, the brisket I've tried a few times & is very dry. (video gets activated when one clicks on their website).

Links are decent, of course don't hold a candle to Barbara Ann's.

Two types of sauce served, sweet/heat & tomato/vinegar.

I've also been for breakfast, the brisket hash is good but more of a roast beef hash rather than a smoked BBQ brisket hash.

I've been to T-Bob's a few times and decided not to initiate a thread because I didn't find anything worth writing about. Nothing especially objectionable, but nothing really noteworthy either.

Apparently there are enough people in the NW suburbs who are willing to settle because T-Bob's has been around for a couple of years now. I wish them no ill will, but won't be spending my money there unless I get word of vast improvements.
