I'd seen a reference to Brat Days in this thread and since we were going to be in the area, we decided to check it out . . .


We missed the marketplace, but did get to hear a couple of decent local bands . . .






Unfortunately, there was a lot of this going on, which made it hard to enjoy the food.

Brat-stuffed chicken wing gets cut up for samples. This was the same stuffing as was in the eggrolls.

Brat Days or not, a festival isn't officially a festival without funnel cakes!

My wife, baby girl, my mom, and myself were up @ Brat Days on Saturday from about 11:30 until 4:00 p.m.

We each enjoyed a double brat sandwich, as well as the brat eggrolls. I also had single brat to finish out the event. Plenty of beer as well.

This year was kind of low key compared to last year when they had ESPN, and the professional eaters taking part in the brat eating contest. I believe 19 brats won this year whereas Kobiashi(sp) ate I believe 59 last year. Smaller crowds, and too many clouds in the sky this year but still a great time with our fine neighbors to the north.

I need to get over to Sheboygan for this next year, and while I'm there I'll stop at the pizza place in the other thread.

I'm sorry but that "Brat on a stick" photo just has to go.
