I've searched the NW burbs far and wide for the new Ben & Jerry flavor.... even the Ben & Jerry's shops don't seem to carry it at this point.... anyone seen it?

Also looking for the new Willie Nelson Peach ice cream.... the Palatine Whole Foods seemed to have a tag for it in the freezer but alas, all the pints were gone.

The Willie Nelson ice cream was voluntarily recalled because the label didn't declare wheat as an ingredient. That might impact availability; the linked press release is about 6 weeks old, so it seems like that's a plausible interim for them to correct the issue and get stuff to stores.

Ben & Jerry's web site has a "flavor locator" -- here's a search for Americone Dream in Chicago -- it lists six area Dominick's stores.

I found it a few weeks ago at the 7-11 on Archer at Central. I also saw a few pints of the Peach Cobbler at 7-11 a few days ago. If I'd known it had been recalled, I would have grabbed one.

I bought a pint a couple of weeks ago at the Clybourn Dominicks which is listed at the product locater linked above. Delicious!
