By chance does anyone know where I could find Cipollini onions in Lake County, or possibly Kenosha county? I don't get down to Chicago very often, but if that's the only place I can get them I suppose I can make the trip.

Thanks!!

I've seen them often at Jewel. They carry bags of them from Melissa's. And if one Jewel has them, others should be able to order them, if they don't have them.

I don't know if there is a Jewel in Kenosha, but I do know they have them in Lake County.

Happy hunting.

I live in Round Lake Beach, IL and the Jewel here is really bad (a lot of rotting produce). I'll have to check the one in Gurnee or the one on route 12. Thanks!!!

I used to pay the insane prices for Melissa's cipollinis when nothing else would do. Now, when I see them at Jewel they look so awful I don't bother. Cipollinis used to be available from time to time at Whole Foods or Fox & Obel but I never see them any more. I would love more answers to this question!

Try this place:

Garden Fresh Market - Round Lake Beach
965 East Rollins Rd.
(847) 231-6650

The last place that I have seen them at is at Joe Cap-uto's Market in Algonquin

I used to go to Garden Fresh when it was Cub Foods, but when it changed hands I stopped going there because they didn't carry my brand of vodka...LOL I will surely check them out. Thanks!
