My son is brewing a cider using a ginger-beer plant... apparently the champagne version takes too long. Who knew?
I just found out that my oldest will be in town for Thanksgiving, so I'm scrambling for some vegetarian alternatives. I love kobacha squash, so maybe a small one stuffed with some Field Roast sausage, kale, and pine nuts.
Other than that, I'm doing our basic Thanksgiving menu (starring a dry-brined "Judy bird"-roasted HoKa turkey).
Looking forward to hearing what other folks are coming up with!
