Beginning on October 7, Stir Crazy Restaurants in Northbrook, Warrenville, Schaumburg and Chicago will be offering new lower calorie dishes on the menu, ranging between a tasty and healthy 480 – 610 calories. Each dish was created by Stir Crazy teams from around the country, with the assistance of a nutritionist to ensure that taste and nutrition went hand-in-hand.

Leading off at a mere 480 calories is Malaysian Mango Chicken or Salmon (580 calories)
• Grilled chicken breast or salmon topped with a zesty mango salsa and served on a bed of brown rice. Chicken: $11 Salmon: $12

Stepping in at 500 calories is Seared Miso Sea Scallops
• Sea Scallops, asparagus, shiitake mushrooms and red peppers in a miso broth, topped with garlic spinach and served on a bed of brown rice. $12

Next up at 530 calories is Char-Grilled Shrimp with Fire-Roasted Vegetables
• Char-grilled shrimp is accompanied by fire-roasted zucchini, yellow squash, red onions and red peppers lightly tossed in Stir Crazy’s Thai BBQ sauce and served on a bed of brown rice. $12

Rounding out the “Crazy Good for You” section, at 610 calories, is Szechwan Peppercorn Encrusted Chicken
• Tender chicken breast is lightly encrusted with Szechwan peppercorn, served on a bed of broccoli slaw with a side of field greens. $11.
