Hi everyone,

Is anyone looking for kitchen space to rent? I've talked with a couple LTHers about this already, but I wanted to get a broader audience.

We're looking into the prospect of renting out kitchen space, but we want to check the interest before we go through with it. I just want to make sure it's going to be worth the hassle and cost of new licensing and inspections. It's about a 900 sq ft kitchen with plenty of storage space, located near Lincoln Park. The hours available would be mornings until about 2 p.m. and then available again overnight. There are two parking spots in back if you have a food truck, hint hint.

Drop me a PM if you have any questions.

Lincoln Park isn't convenient for me, but I wonder if anyone knows of a commercial kitchen available to rent in the north and/or northwest suburbs?

Same here. Also if anyone knows of any kitchen rentals in the Kenosha County in Wisconsin.

Hi all,

I'm actually doing a study on the possibility of opening up a shared/commercial kitchen in the southwest suburbs (i.e. near Naperville/Plainfield). If you know of anyone who might be interested, please direct them to this survey so we can get more info. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/CTCMWLW

Thanks!

Still hoping to find something north shore/northwest burbs. My candy probably isn't LTH-great, but my friends really like it and I'm trying to give it a go.

Reviving what looks to be a fairly old thread...

My husband and I are trying to find a commercial prep kitchen space (800 ft or so) to rent - not by the hour, but full time - to set up our spice company in the Chicago area. Location is flexible - though on the north side would be a massive plus. Mostly, we sell our products online, but we'd love to have a small storefront (if possible).

We've tried working with a realtor - and that was a total bomb. Does anyone know of someone either looking to lease out a space - or a realtor that isn't going to rip us off? (Long story. Lessons learned.)

Thank you in advance for any tips/help!

- Patricia

I too am looking to rent kitchen space, specifically in a bakery. I am interested in taking my gourmet cookie business to the masses this Spring at Farmer's Markets and such. But, I need to get into a commercial kitchen to produce my gourmet cookies. If anyone has information on kitchen space I can rent at a decent price, please contact me. I do not need a lot of space, but enough to layout my dough and several cookie sheets.

Thank you!!!
