He's very attractive! I always forget when he comes on - I usually just find him when I'm flipping through the channels.

I love Ming Tsai... A few years ago when he was on Food Network, I was tempted to fly to Boston to "stalk" him... then I found out that he was happily married... Hmmm.... It HAS been a few years...

I think he comes across as friendly and affable on his own shows, but on Cooking Under Fire he seemed egotistical, self-important and overly harsh in his criticisms. Soured me on him personally, but his techniques and cooking ideas are still pretty good.

I have to agree on how he presented himself on "Cooking Under Fire". I do watch his other shows when I catch them and sometimes see the arrogance peeking out. I think his later shows are more mellow but the earlier shows were kind of "look at me, I'm Ming Tsai"-esque.

D@mned fine chef.....would love to watch him work in person.

OMG! I love this guy! My boyfriend knows he has to be quiet when Ming is on. However I often hear him cursing him under his breath while he watches with me. :D

I've never seen the Cooking Under Fire show, is that Food Network? Sadly no cable for me :(

When "East Meets West" was first on the Food Network, I couldn't watch it. Not because of the technique or his personality, but because he sounded exactly like my internist at the time, and it gave me the creeps.

I've watched a little of his stuff over the years, but I found that somehow I never found myself saying "I HAVE to try to make that at home someday."
