While I was walking out of WF in downtown Evanston yesterday, I noticed that the Evanston Round Table had an article about a program that took place recently at the EPL addressing food insecurities in Evanston. Apparently they are doing a four part series about this topic, and the session they just had last week is #3. If I would have known about this I would have attended. I went into the library to see when the final presentation is going to take place. The guy at circulation looked on the website, and could not find it. He suggested that I talk to somebody in the reference department on the second floor, and they would know. The library was closing in 5 minutes, and so I will have to do that another day. Has anybody been to any of these programs? Apparently up to 15% of the people in Evanston do not have enough money to buy an adequate amount of food. Thanks, Nancy
