Apparently Fischman's Liquor lured two food trucks (mac n cheese and empanadas) all the way up to Jefferson Park recently, and it was so successful they are having six come next Thursday:

They are just south of Lawrence on Milwaukee.

Any LTH's going to this gathering?? Looks like the weather may dampen things... no pun intended...

Joan, I think it goes until 8 or 9 -- whenever the trucks run out of food. If you call Fischman's maybe they can tell you how long the food lasted previous times. In the past they also staggered some trucks to come at 6 and some to come at 7:30 but not sure if they are still doing that.

thanks for this info. i havent had any of the food from these trucks. i'm a little dubious about french fries, if they can't be cooked on the truck.....

Steakw'ch (@steakwch) will offer the Prow’ch, Ribeye Steak, Grilled Onions, and Provolone Cheese on 8" Torpedo Roll
Tamale Foodie (@tamalefoodie) will offer Pepperoni & Mozzarella Savory Cupcake AND Swiss Chard & Queso Fresco Tamales
Wagyu Wagon will offer Yellow coconut curry with vegetables over rice paired AND the Dirty Sanchez Burger an 80/20 patty (80% wagyu, 20% ground Neiman Ranch Smoked Bacon) topped with roasted poblano peppers, chorizo, chihuahua cheese
Gigi's Bakeshop (@gigisbakeshop) will round out this cavlary of deliciousness with some sweet cupcakes inspired by carmel covered apples and carmelized bananas.
