No joke - some friends of mine have come into a reservation for the staff room at Noma on August 30th. They're looking for about a dozen people to join them in Copenhagen. I would very much like to be accompanying them, but I have my grad school general exams this August and early September. I asked if they'd like me to pass it along to this board, and they were enthusiastic about the prospect, so here's the info:

I wound up with reservations at Noma for August 25, but if I decide to spend a few more days I can eat there twice. Not bad. I can tell you reservations are MUCH easier to get than at Next. All I had to do was to get up at 3:00 a.m. (Chicago time) and by 3:45 I had a table for two. If I hadn't gotten the table I would probably have been up all night.
