Are you the block’s best backyard chef?
Everyone love your outdoor cooking?
Show us what you’ve got!
Join us for the 2012 Meat On Milwaukee Cookoff, sponsored by the Six Corners Association.

http://cookoffcontest.wordpress.com/

Our first ever neighborhood cookoff contest being held at this year’s Six Corners BBQ Fest, on Sunday, June 17th.
We’re looking for 8 of the best of the best backyard cooks to compete for trophy awards in our judged cook off competition. Categories will be chicken, and pork spare ribs. Meats to be supplied by local business Ellengee Cash and Carry.

We’ll draw 8 total cooking teams to be contestants for this contest from the pool of entries. The Six Corners Association will select the final 8 contestants based on the questions asked on the entry form. Contestants will be notified on June 1st. The entry fee of $30.00 is due upon notification. Details of how to make the payment will be in the notification email.

Just a question -- as the meat will be supplied, will it be available to participants in advance should they choose something that requires an extended marinade (one or two days in advance) or is it all to be cooked the day-of?
