    Please note the date change.....

OK - we're going to start the year off with a spot that's only been mentioned once in LTH World - on the home page - http://www.lthforum.com/2015/09/a-big-b ... -or-right/

Other than the article, I know absolutely nothing about this spot. Please join the LTH North Lunch Group on the 28th for some budae jjigae and other Korean goodies. As always, bring a friend.

I'd like to join you. Sounds like a fun place -- and that mall is a "target rich environment" for those who like food shopping.

Due to the holiday that week, I've got to move my schedule around and I'm not going to be able to make it. Enjoy!!

    Hey all--

Charmed that you're coming up this way to check out one of my haunts, and one of the budae jjigae tests in my piece.

    Count me in, thanks!

Thanks for arranging this, Dave. And thanks, Jay, for the article that inspired the outing. Good group of folks gathered for tasty and intriguing food. I was delighted to be able to try budae jjigae, having read about it doing research for something unrelated to LTH, and even before Jay's article. I was not disappointed. It was both wacky and delicious -- kimchee, noodles, hot red pepper paste, and Spam. Perfect.

Of course, having now seen the place, and the menu, I hope to get back for other dishes. But this was a fun, companionable introduction.

Agreed, Cynthia. Fun times, very low-key & interesting conversation to boot. And I knew the food would be good.

Will be waiting to hear from Dave for the next venue!
