As first timers last year, we were amazed by this party! Please count us in: Coops (Peter) and Kalamazoo Gal (Celia). Peter will make Shrimp & Cheesy grits and I will make something sweet.

I reckon I better stake my claim for Jambalaya before it gets took. I've got a new source for some great sausage I've been wanting to use in a recipe. First time I tasted it, I thought, "Hmm, this'd make some fine Jambalaya."

    And here we are.

Mrs. Roadhouse will probably throw together some kind of dessert, but no promises yet.

EDIT: Whoops, scratch all that! Didn't read your initial post carefully and just now see you're planning on doing the Jambalaya. Well, I did Collard Greens last year, so I guess it'll be Maque Choux (Cajun Corn) this year. I'll arm wrestle you for the Jambalaya honors for 2019.

I still don’t know what I’m gonna do, but my guest is going to make a king cake. I’m pretty excited about that.

Okay, I have the Prudhomme Family Cookbook and I am leaning towards the carrot salad.

    Hi foodie1 and JennieIL ,
I'm going to add you to the list, and then close it, since that seems to be it.
There are also a handful of other musicians and FOL (friends of daughter) that are not listed yet so it's larger than it seems LOL
Looking forward to a great party.
Alcohol, soft drinks, etc are always welcome also!

Late to the game, apologies. Carolyn and I would like to be put on the waitlist, unless it's too late for that, which it may be. We'll probably make something with Spam, unless a lot of people are already doing that.
