The original portable version of the GNRs is a must. Stuck in Bucktown looking for good chow? Out in Lisle looking for some dumplings? The GNR pocket guide is there to help you out.

The LTHForum Great Neighborhood Restaurants Pocket Guide (Update: note words "Fall 2009" in big letters at top-- so you can tell the new one from any old ones you have lying around.)

A slightly-larger-than-business-card sized listing of all currently-open-for-business GNR locations (now well over 100 in total), with address, phone number and a couple of basic clues as to what kind of place it is, neatly organized by rough geographic areas.

You'd expect to pay... well, something for a guide this useful. But it's FREE! All you have to do is:

    1) Click here or on the bolded text above to download the PDF. (Requires Adobe Reader or other ability to download and open PDFs.)

    2) Print the front side. (NOTE: your printer may suggest printing it at less than 100% to get it to fit on your paper. Tell it to print it full size, even if things get cut off; nothing essential should be lost, only some of the crop marks.)

    3) Stick it back in the printer to print the back side.

    4) Fold on the lines to form a Z-fold or accordion fold that looks like this:

    5) Trim along the lines and voila, you have a copy of the handy, GNR pocket guide. Now you never have to scratch your head about where to eat when you're out and about-- you've got the riches of LTHForum at your fingertips! Print several and give them to friends to spread the word about how cool LTHForum is and what a hipster you are for knowing about places like Podhalanka, Ed's Potsticker House and Burt's!

(Note: any corrections, new information, etc. should be posted in this thread and we will update the file as they are received.) Thanks
