This is a shop, not a restaurant. Their sign is fully visible from the street, a major thoroughfare in the city.

Time for a hint? The pig is on the window of a Polish delicatessen, discussed here in the last year by more than one person.

Another hint? The deli is on Archer.

Not Bobak's, not Andy's. Is there an Andy's on Archer?

Not Gilmart. Now we have it down to a small handful of delis.

    How about the 7-9-11 store?

Not 7-9-11 but you're very close (geographically). By the way, your guess of Gilmart was even closer.

I'll say it is close to the Gilmart-it's right next door. Dunajec Bakery and Deli. Anybody ever try this place?

Dunajec it is, just a couple stores south of Gilmart. I like Dunajec but usually go to Gilmart mainly because of their later hours (plus their prices are hard to beat). I actually tried to go to Dunajec earlier today but they were closed for Christmas vacation.

I trust I'm not alone in finding Dunajec's sign slightly unsettling. A pig quivering with wonder and delight as he's disemboweled by an unseen sausagemaker's hand is probably not what I'd choose to decorate my delicatessen.

Here's the Dunajec window sign one year later.
