Can you recommend some Chicagoland North/Central brew pubs, taverns, bars, restaurants for good beer flights?

I've found that many places don't seem to offer flights anymore, but just small tasting glasses that you can order ala carte. Goose Island is an exception -- for $8 or $10, you get 4oz. of 4 of their beers on draft. Revolution, Haymarket and Piece all offer 4-5oz. glasses for $2. Half Acre's taproom will hopefully be open soon -- I'd expect (or hope, at least) that they would follow suit in some way. Across the street, Bad Apple offers flights, but I'm not certain you get to pick the specific options. I think the Clark Street Ale House let's you make a flight, though I haven't been there in a long time and I'm not sure if that's still an option.

The Green Lady offers a $12 flight of any 4 beers that they have on tap....i took advantage of this the other day when they had Bourbon County Stout on one of their draft lines.

Village Tap in Roscoe Village also offers flights, with selection based on available beers on draft when visiting. Decent bar food and covered patio in back as well.

If you are ever in the suburbs, check out Bigby's Pour House in Addison.

1700 W Lake St
Addison, Illinois, 60101-1172
phone: (630) 773-1050

They only serve craft beers and wine, with a strong emphasis on the beer. You can pick any of their beers on tap to make up your own flight. The flight is 5 beers, each in a 3-4 oz glass, for $15.

They change tap and bottle selection frequently. They don't have website, but do keep their menu up to date on Beer Menus.com. You can also find them on Facebook.

Not on the menu so you have to ask, but the Tap House Grill in Highwood offered 3 for $12 or 4 for $15, not sure if they were 3 or 4 ounce glasses. Waitress suggested I include the Goose Island Bourbon County Stout since they happened to have some in; it was life changing!
