The junipers in front of my house have been growing like crazy this year, both in foliage and in massive amounts of berries.
I had to trim off some branches that were encroaching on the sidewalk, and felt it was silly to throw away the berries.

Are they safe to include in marinades or to flavor beverages, etc.? I do not use any chemical fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides on my lawn (except for the occasional spot treatment to remove a tenacious weed, none of that near these bushes).
