Looking ahead post-holiday-wise, I can't think of a better way to celebrate Tuesday, May 27 than by having lunch at LSC. What, you ask, does one celebrate on Tuesday, May 27? Why, that's easy! The fact that it's Tuesday. Or the fact that it's May 27. Or the fact that the holiday is over. Or the fact that there are still more holidays to come. Or the fact that we're eating lunch at LSC. Or....

I figure on getting underway about 12:30 or so, though the time is flexible should 12:30 prove inconvenient for too many. I don't suppose anyone want Chinese food...?

Admittedly, and regrettably, I'm a LSC virgin. However, I need to find a nice, affordable space for a group meeting in the early fall, and I understand that Tony has room upstairs that could work.

But, of course, the real reason for going would be for the food. See you there.

Tony has two rooms upstairs - one "fully private" in the back that is appropriate for 25-ish, and one "semi-private" in the front that is appropriate for 40-60ish (I just had 33 in there on April 27), though you get it all to yourself if you fill it. Very often, there is no reservation charge; sometimes, there is a very nominal one.

I must play Tuesday by ear, but am probably out. There are quite a few items logged in the thread linked below, and I am about 15 items behind (things I've eaten and photographed but have not gotten around to posting yet). I'll try to have it updated by Tuesday.

Count me in for the Gypsy Boy LSC lunch, I was planning on going today (Friday) when life got in the way.

Enjoy,
Gary

Yup. My tentative count as of this moment is:

Gypsy Boy
nr 706
Santander
Kennyz
G Wiv

I'll try to show up a touch early and grab a table for at least 6. Look for the lonely person. :D

Alas...something has come up and I can't make lunch. That, and I ate dinner there last night. Very tasty. Garlic pea shoots were crisp-tender and delicious, and Tony was full-on working the room. Enjoy.

Add one more to make it an even 6... I only have time to play the front nine.

LTH,

Terrific LSC lunch yesterday, Szechuan Spicy Rabbit w/bone and Szechuan Beef and Maw as embarrassingly delicious as always, not to mention the two orders, defensive ordering was in play, of Tony's Three Chili Chicken, Lamb w/cumin and Ma Po Tufu with the $2 pork option, among other dishes.

It was a real pleasure to dine with Gypsy Boy, P Daane, Santander and two LSC first timers KennyZ and nr706.

Enjoy,
Gary
