You are welcome; it's my way of saying "thanks" for all of the great info and work that went into and continues to be a part of LTH. Unfortunately I couldn't make it to the picnic, but when I'm back in the Chicago environs next, I'll try to catch up with you folks at one of the many events!

Just a quick note about the google calendar:

Google recently started adding "smart" time zone settings to the calendar. Unfortunately, I'm in EST, whereas the majority of LTHers are in CST - this has caused most of the events to be set ahead an hour (I think? - maybe it's smart enough to adjust depending on the time zone of the poster and or reader?) - at any rate, until I can test and see what actually is going on, please be sure to read the original post that's linked from the calendar as the time on the calendar might be an hour off.

Hi,

I just checked the CHEW event you posted. It appears to me as a 7-8 PM event. Does it appear as a 8-9 PM event for you?

Thank you for keeping the calendar up to date!

Regards,

Thankfully, Google calendar isn't THAT smart - the times are staying the same. I just had to correct all the ones I entered since Google so helpfully changed them to CST for me. :)

Everything should be good going forward, but, as always, please PM me if you see any mistakes. Thanks!

I don't know if anyone noticed, or if those who did notice were just being polite, but the calendar has been out of date these past few weeks. I was out of the country and purposefully unplugged and offline. I forgot to post a warning beforehand, so my apologies. It should be up to date now, however.

Thank you, as always, for your efforts.

I hope you had a wonderful trip.

I'm afraid I need to relinquish my duty of keeping the Google calendar up to date. Due to staff shortages where I work, I am basically on the road all the time and find it difficult to keep up lately with the calendar. Thanks for the opportunity, but I think the calendar is going to suffer if I don't pass on the torch.

To whoever might take up the torch, I'd be glad to pass on the pertinent info about how to update the calendar.

Thanks for the opportunity - I hope to see folks at the picnic in September, but it ain't looking good. :(

I'm not volunteering, but thanks, dfawley, for doing this job so long!

Out of curiosity, how up-to-date is the calendar recently?

Hi,

Bean has very nicely volunteered to oversee this.

Your query prompted me to give it a quick look, from a casual glance it appears to be up-to-date. Why do you ask?

Regards,

If anybody has issues with the calender, please feel free to PM me--I'll do whatever I can to resolve any difficulties.
I try to keep up to date, but sometimes get distracted by real life or simple, stupidly, miss things.
Feedback is most welcome!
