Today's woot.com item is the NatureMill PRO Edition HC52CA Black Indoor Automatic Composter for $249.99 + $5 shipping. I did a bit of Googling and found that this appears to be $150 less than retail price...so if anyone's been considering indoor composting, this could be a good pick-up.

For those of you who aren't familiar with woot.com, they offer one item per day, starting at midnight central time; that item is available until 11:59pm that same day, or until it is sold out. Shipping is always a flat $5, whether you buy 1 item or 3 (the maximum anyone is allowed to buy), whether it's a wall calendar or a flatscreen TV.

I keep looking at those, but it seems like even $250 is an awful lot for a composter, considering you can use a bucket. Since we don't have any middle ground indoor space like a garage, the concept is very tempting...

Thanks for the heads-up, khaopaat!
