Zappa's son Ahmet told a story about growing up "Ahmet"; he got tired of being called "Ahmet vomit" and longed for a "normal" name. One day he announced that he was going to be called Rick from thereon in but he came home frustrated because the kids just called him "Rick the dick."

In my youth a neighborhood couple named their newborn baby "Amber." They said they had chosen that name partially because it was impossible to make into an obnoxious nickname. My six yr old brother immediately leaned over the crib and said "Hello, Amburger!"
