It's early, I know, but my place gets hot in the summer so I wanted to host another before it's too uncomfortable to do so.* Our house is in Niles and I will send out directions closer to the date. It's fairly easy to get to and there's plenty of free parking. Warning: I have a cat! But he's a friendly fellow.

I am capping the number of attendees at eight including myself.

I don't know what dinner will be, but I'll make sure it's garlic and onion free. I'm leaning towards Neptune Salad (hope y'all like salmon).

How the exchange works
Bring one dessert that can be tasted and divided up among the participants. Bring containers for transporting desserts home.

I have tickets to the 2:00 pm performance of the Joffrey that day, so I won't be able to attend as I wouldn't be able to get there until after 5:00 pm.

Well, we have a decision to make. It seems there may only be three of us.

Should we cancel this month? Or make it either the 13th or 20th, but then someone else will have to host?

The 13th is probably out for most as that is Mother's Day. The 20th would work for me. I could host again or if the weather permits, we could do an outdoor thing as suggested earlier. The 6th is a bit too close for me. As I said earlier, I have tickets to the ballet, but my kitchen won't be finished until early next week and then the clean-up and restocking the cabinets begins. I think it would be a bit ambitious for me to attempt making the 6th.
