Hi,

This may be an ideal place for lunch next weekend.

Thanks you!

Gonna try to make this. Last winter, the Lovely Dining Companion and I went to another public function at this church, making mochi! It was a lot of fun, quite educational, and people were friendly. We were surprised at the substantial number of members of the congregation of Japanese descent. Did some reading and it turns out that the congregation was founded after WWII by Japanese families settling in Chicago after their release from the internment camps.

Hi,

I plan to be there around 1 pm. I really like community dinners.

On Sunday, 3/20/11, there will be another udon, sushi and baked goods sale (with a church basement dinner vibe) at Christ Church, from 12 pm - 3 pm.
