    Cermak Fresh Market
    4000 W Diversey Ave
    Chicago, IL 60639
    (773) 647-1416
    $8.99 for a 12-pack

    Carniceria Guanajuato (#3?)
    3140 N California Ave
    Chicago, IL 60618
    (773) 267-7739
    $7.99 for a 12-pack

    Where else?

The two Marianos nearest to me has them either by the bottle (Ashland/Webster) or the 12 pack (Western/Roscoe). 12 pack price is 7.99 if I recall correctly.

Jewel on Ashland/Wellington has the regular AND lime version by the bottle.

If anyone has seen the grapefruit topo by the bottle please speak up!

I've never seen . . . well, never noticed, any Topo Chico flavors. Not sure I'd be into that but if I see them anywhere, I'll be sure to report back.

I'm also not sure how that would taste. The best part of Topo Chico is the pronounced minerality, like someone threw a handful of old nails into the bottle.

Yes, very hard bubbles, which is my favorite attribute, too. I tend to avoid pre-flavored mineral waters. I'll typically add my own if I'm feeling a desire for it.

Ron, check yer Jewel. Maybe it's an area specific thing? I was strolling around the one on Pershing and Harlem today and remebered your quest when I saw someone with a 12 pack. I hunted the shelf and found em. They were in the soda aisle and not the sparkling water aisle (?) 12 packs were 6.48 or 6.88, and they also had the smaller packs of lime and grapefruit. Friend of mine also raves about the stuff. I'll have to give it a whirl.

Snagged some 4-packs of the grapefruit stuff at Save a Lot in La Salle, IL over the weekend. Holy hell is this good. Anyone ever seen this stuff around town?

I'd never had, or even heard of, Topo Chico until I stumbled upon it this year in the VIP area of the Pitchfork Music Festival, of all places. They gave me the grapefruit version and, boy, was that a knockout. The booth reps were giving people taster cups before offering up whole, big bottles, which was interesting, probably to see if the product agreed with people - as mentioned, it's not unassertive. I kinda forgot about it until I saw this thread. I'll keep an eye peeled now.

The Marianos at Clybourn and Halsted has 12 packs ($8.99, I believe). Some of the Whole Foods around town have glass bottles in 1-liter size.

Glass bottles of the grapefruit flavor available by the four-pack at Jewel on W Foster. First location in the city I've seen grapefruit flavored four-packs (I haven't exactly been on the hunt for long, but still).

Topo Chico 12 x 12-oz glass is now up to $9.99 @ Carniceria Guanajuato on California. This is the second $1.00 increase in the last few months and with Coke now driving the bus, I suspect it won't be the last, either.

Bad news: It's the highest price for a 12-pack I've ever seen.
