We spent a very enjoyable evening here last night. It was our first visit.
Love that everything is offered in either half or full portions. We started with half orders of the lumpia, empanadas, and ham croquetas.
Croqueta Tots
The empanada dough was wonderfully light and crispy. All of the appetizers were delicious.
Audrey opted for a half portion of Adobo Wings as her entree. That worked well for her as it was 6 generous wings with a side of steamed rice.
Jonathan had the Ropa Vieja which both he and Audrey reported that the meat was very tender and flavorful. I had the Pancit Canton with the optional addition of shrimp. I really enjoyed this dish. The noodles, vegetables (shiitake mushrooms and long beans,) sauce, and shrimp worked in perfect harmony.
Pancit Canton
The space felt very cozy on a dreary evening. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and efficient. Cuban music in the background kept the vibe upbeat.
There were no empty tables while we were there. It is a small restaurant. Not sure what it's like on a week night but if you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night I would definitely recommend making a reservation. Group of 4 that walked in shortly after 7pm was quoted a 2 hour wait time.
