    Expense account meal.
Not too far off the beaten path, the diners will be from Denver, and staying somewhere touristy, so gritty hood might not be the best. My first thought is Sunda, maybe Jeong. I'm way out of my element searching for "Asian Fusion." Little help here if you got anything?

    After more investigation:
    Sunda
    Jeong
    Le Colonial
    Nobu
    Tao
Shanghai Terrace (prolly not "fusion," but I know they like to spend to impress.)

Don't count out Roka Akor, which a few have observed is often over-delivering vs. descriptions and pricepoints, like an oddly subsidized ambassadorial safehouse or something. There's not one in Denver to my knowledge.

Not sure it really classifies as fusion but it if were me on someone else's dime, it'd be Momotaro ftw.

Based on the criteria, this would be my recommendation too. It'll be splashy and plenty of options for everyone in the dining party.

    Thanks, Team!

Roka Akor had eyes on it, nice to know there's some positive thoughts.
Momotaro might skew a little too far on the Japanese side for this group. It would PROLLY be fine, but I'm guessing they are thinking it would be easier to please a large group with more fusion-y in case there are some "meat&tater" folks. I'll definitely let them know about this, tho.

Cross fingers I get an invite. Their dinners are no joke, been to a few of them. I'm guessing they'll attempt to buy a place out for the night.

If they asked for my "anything good in Chicago" rec for them, it would be for one of the higher end Mexican places, but since they are from Denver, I'm guessing they don't see Chicago as a Mexican mecca when they only have a few days in town.
