lougord99 wrote:I have never had the fish sandwich. But I have their chicken sandwich a couple of times a month. Their is HUGE variation on the quality of their chicken sandwich. The biggest variation is, as best I can gather, whether the sandwich was made 5 minutes ago or an hour ago. There is no question that they make these sandwiches ahead - at times far ahead. When it is good, it is very good. Many times it is not good at all.

it was apparent that this sandwich was fresh from a low wattage heat lamp.

So you had to wait 20 minutes to get a sandwich that had been sitting around under a heat lamp. That's just a bad combination all around. Sorry to hear about it, but thanks for taking one for the team!

The national burger chain on Monday announced its newest menu creation: the Scorchin’ Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich.
The spicy sandwich is made with Nashville hot crispy chicken, spicy red pepper mayo, pickles, and served on a classic toasted bun. The new addition will be available for a limited time beginning April 19 through June 13 at locations nationwide.

I've been blending/pureeing equal parts yellow mustard and giardiniera for a few years. First time was as topping for smoked Chicago style hot links at Chicago Gourmet. Mini New England style bun, smoked hot link, mustard/giardiniera, pickled red onions. Did about 2,500 for that event, went over very well. Been doing the mustard/giardiniera ever since as topping for a wide variety of items.

The rice was my #2 choice, after the beloved onion rings. If they 86 those, that place will likely be dead to me.
That's just brutal. It's one of my favorite fast food items

I can’t speak to what goes on in the restaurant, but their on line ordering does not have rice.

Just a double check: Cajun/Dirty rice or Red Beans and Rice? The latter is still on the menu, I believe.
