I know he loves what he does but even knowing full-well what he was getting into, he feels overwhelmed at times.

So even in the best case, when you're wildly successful, it's a tough, grueling business. Those who can handle it gracefully have my unending admiration and respect. I know I couldn't do what they do.

I think Doug Sohn of Hot Doug's is in this club. Burt, too. In a sense you become a slave to your business.

It might not make sense right off, but when you think about everyone doing that, and the few people that show up to eat in are sitting there in an empty place wondering why it'll be 2 hours for their pie - you'll understand. Eat-in is priority.

For my money, Spacca is still the best. I'm glad there are more choices for all, but Great Lake is just getting too cult-ish.

I think it's a bit early to make that designation - it's been like two months since it's been this way. It'll get better once all the gawkers finally dissipate. Honestly though, it's like a 30 second walk for me, so if Spacca is closer I'm sure it's more worth it to you. I need to try that place still.

I live nowhere near Spacca, but its location features ample parking.
