    Thanks guys. Jim, you do great work on your sandwich blog, they should call you the Earl of Sandwich.
    I appreciate everyone's work in making this local delicacy known. Now that I think about it, I might have to try the deep fried version at a Baba's Steak and Lemonade next time I'm near one.
    One hint I would give to people who want to try one would be to order it with light gyro sauce and light giardiniera (if any), to reduce the messiness and prevent the hot peppers from overwhelming the taste of the sandwich. Unless that's your thing of course.

    The next local delicacy I might have to try would be a sweet steak. That's even harder to find than a Jim Shoe though, and waiting upwards of half an hour after my order isn't going to be fun either, but hopefully the experience is worth it.
