This is also probably as good a spot as anywhere to let all you know that today, I installed AT&T Gigabit Fiber here at the abode. The Speedtest shows uploads and download in the mid-900s, which is a lot faster than 53/Kbps. Image

    But how did it taste?

I had the Carne Asada tacos today. Really enjoyed them. Thought they were better than the Al Pastor that I had a couple of weeks ago. No pineapple was really disappointing.

It was OK. It was for the better that I did not try to bring it over to The Beer Temple, or Metropolitan Brwg. Those wieners just would not stay in place. Thus, I had to keep picking them up from the wrapper and sticking them back inside what ever was left of the bun.
Ultimately, I doubt I will order any more tortas, especially salchicha. :P

Maybe I posted something like this in an affiliated topic (NW side Mexican?), but it is more on-topic here. Besides, the image host where it was stored has gone off-line, so I would have to re-upload it anyhow.
It is another Carne Asada burrito from Carniceria Guanajuato #3. Image Image
(N.B.: Notice I did not fall into the trap of the Torta de Salchicha.)

When I would take out from here would be when I walk to Metropolitan Brwg. on N. Rockwell. If only going to the Beer Temple, I would eat in.
No, I was not dosed by the illness. I had not eaten there since 3 August. :|

They just mentioned on Channel 5 news, that so far 55 customers at the Carniceria Guanajuato California Ave. location have come down with salmonella. The place is still closed while the health department works with the restaurant/grocery store to make sure that this does not happen again.

Just to clarify the last post, the taqueria is closed but the grocery store remains open.
