Interesting. Also interesting that Vettel somehow forgot (or chose not) to mention a price point, something pointed out in a piece published in the NYT on the same day: $300 to $500. Pretty pricey; may make our attendance more a wish than an actuality. (You can find the NYT piece here

The much-anticipated Ever, the restaurant by Curtis Duffy and Michael Muser (last seen presiding over three-Michelin-star Grace), has announced an opening date.

In hopes that Illinois, and Chicago specifically, will have transitioned to Phase Four (permitting indoor dining with spacing and other restrictions), Ever plans to open its doors at 1340 W. Fulton St. on July 28. Reservations, via Tock, are now being accepted.

A couple of nights ago, we had dinner indoors at Ever. Duffy's cuisine is as creative as... ever. :) The service too was top notch, which comes as no surprise to those who have previously dined at Grace and Avenues. And I cannot think of a better layout for safe indoor dining; all the seats are over six feet (and more like 12 feet) from those at other tables, staff are masked, etc. It's nice to get back to fine dining for a special occasion!

    1. Curious: how many folks were there?

    2. Nice pics...but not a word about the food?
