Delilah's

Have they consulted with Delilah's on Lincoln (or is there any affiliation)? Ignore my question. Didn't see the last line in the post.
Apparently, not related:
https://whatnowchicago.com/what-if-synd ... old-coast/But What If Syndicate isn’t stopping there. The group will debut its newest concept, Delilah’s, in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood, Danny Grant confirmed in a brief telephone conversation with What Now Chicago Thursday.
The eatery, which filed a liquor license for 847 N State Street, is not affiliated with Lincoln Park’s Delilah’s, a bar owned and operated by Mike Miller, a What If Syndicate rep confirmed.
It doesn't really say what the place will be, but chances of it being "nice" and/or semi trendy are probably high.

Interesting. I hope this doesn't impact Wheeling Donuts (try this immediately if you haven't already).

After around nine months of selling out of a 400-square-foot box in the Boxville marketplace, Morelli now plans to open a larger restaurant with new menu items at 4020 N. Milwaukee Avenue in Portage Park.

So moving from a neighborhood market adjacent to a Green line stop to the Six Corners? I wonder if they realize that this is probably a step down in terms of foot traffic?
It’s a second location = “Morelli still plans to keep operating the original shipping container location with an abbreviated menu of the Bronzeville Bourbon dog, the Prairie Blues Steak dog (cranberry honey mustard, cabbage, collard greens), and a rotating seasonal option.”

I think it's just that the already-existing or already-planned private equity piece has changed hands. I think you can continue to expect higher prices, along with diminishing quality and service.

Brown Bag has also reopened so the first floor food court is now fully operational with Do-Rite, Shake Shack, Rick Bayless' Tortazo and Sweetgreen. Everything's easily a buck or two above overpriced, but it's nice to finally have some options. Oh, and the sushi was "fine" by lunch kiosk standards.
Millennium Park, billed as the Midwest’s top tourist attraction, will be getting several more food and drink options next spring, thanks to a $2.5 million investment from Eleven North Hospitality. The group plans to renovate the 140-seat restaurant formerly known as the Park Grill and add a Mexican cafe opposite the Bean sculpture and a coffee bar operated by Momentum Coffee, a small Black-owned South Side chain.

Los Angeles-based Dave's Hot Chicken is opening its first Chicago location Friday at 3643 N. Western Ave. The restaurant features in-door seating as well as a mural featuring Dave in a blue pinstripe baseball uniform, a nod to the Chicago Cubs. Dave stands on top of a UFO, reinforcing how the company's chicken is "out of this world," according to a company press release.
