There have been a few mentions, but I think a dedicated thread is warranted. We have carried out a few times but dined in for the first time tonight. Our family of three approached the menu grazing-style and went with the calamari appetizer and an assortment of nigiri and maki. The waygu nigiri were a stand-out as well as the hamachi maki. Service was very knowledgeable about the menu and friendly, especially with my daughter. I forgot to bring her chopsticks, but they had the “kids” plastic piece that joins the sticks. She loved the assorted mochi dessert. Carry-out business was active but there were only a few other tables sat while we were there.

I will proclaim my love of Raisu from the highest peaks. They deserve all the accolades. If they were located in a "hotter" neighborhood, they would be packed every night. Now, I am craving sushi.

My family and I are huge fans of Raisu as well and go there quite often. We've enjoyed everything we've tried and the quality of the fish is excellent. Favorites include nigiri, signature nigiri, maki, and signature maki (try the Omega roll!). Even something as simple as the mixed healthy green salad is beautifully composed and delicious. Service is always good too.

Raisu has been our go to for a while. Great quality fish. Incredible value. In restaurant and carry out.

I live 1/2 a block from them. Besides being quite good, they're sweet as hell as well. Needing some ikura for a garnish, I stopped in to buy a couple orders of ikura sashimi to go. When I told the chef what I was using it for he refused to take my money. That move made me come back for dinner, and that dinner made me come back many more times.

Fantastic meal at the sushi bar last night. After a few positive experiences with delivery, it was so nice to be on site, temperature really does make a difference with sushi preps. Pristine fish, attentive service, pleasant space, and a nice sake flight made for a lovely evening. We look forward to return visits.

Great family dinner here last night. I was happy to see almost every table occupied.

We started with edamame and Shrimp/Veg Tempura. Veg included asparagus, sweet potato & shiitake mushroom caps.

Just a reminder that Raisu is still open & awesome. Was happy to see them fairly full tonight. Friendly service, fresh & bright tuna tartar, steaming hot edamame, a variety of on point maki rolls… consistently excellent!
