I was surprised that I could not find a thread here for Tryzub Ukrainian Kitchen in Ukrainian Village. Tryzub opened in 2016 and offers a modern take on traditional Ukrainian cuisine in an art filled space.
We started out with the Carpathian Wild Mushroom soup and Bosrch, which were both served with a side of dark rye bread. Both delicious and a great way to start the meal. To drink, I ordered the Tryzub Porter beer. I think this was a house brewed beer, but I don't know much beyond that.
For our mains we ordered several different options, starting with stuffed cabbage rolls using pork and wild rice, utilizing savoy cabbage.
Next, I ordered the Carpathian Banosh, which were crispy polenta spheres.
The other main was classic Varenyky.
For dessert, we had Chocolate Walnut Torte and Apple Strudel, both delicious.
