We revisited Anchor Bay in Biron for dinner last night. Hadn't been there since prior to my dad's passing in 2020.
It was a lovely, if a bit chilly evening in Central Wisconsin.
On approach:
We ordered a fried cheese curd appetizer that was pretty standard.
Jonathan and Audrey had entrees that included a salad. Salads were cold, crisp and fresh with the typical-Wisconsin generous portion of croutons.
Entrees came and I forgot to take pics until everyone had taken a bite or two.
Saturdays are Prime Rib nights. Jonathan got a Queen.
Audrey went with another special of the evening, Beef Stroganoff.
She enjoyed this.
My mom was in the mood for a burger and was happy with her choice.
I made a bad decision and got the shrimp basket. It was 100% Sysco. Oh well...
Our server was great - friendly, energetic, really on top of things. The Spotted Cows hit the spot. The views are spectacular at sunset.
Upon leaving:
Pontoon boat envy:
Life goal - to spend my retirement living on a lake, floating around on my pontoon boat while sipping cocktails and maybe catching a fish or two.
Question for the group - Anyone been to the Wissota Chophouse in Stevens Point? (Not to be confused with the Wissota Supper Club in Chippewa Falls.) My mom has not but we are considering it for a meal around the Holidays.
