McCormick grill mates seasoning .99 wyb 3

In the electronic coupons, there is a $1 off coupon for McCormick grill mates seasoning. It is good until March 31st.

    Regards,
    Cathy2

Coupon is for when 1 is purchased.
.99 cents when 3 in one transaction.
    The electronic coupon won’t work.

    Cheers.

One box will ring up free per account. Sorry for the very late notice, I just discovered this on my end-of-week grapefruit run.

This coupon from February 21st worked like a charm: a 99 cent item with a $1 off coupon went through without an issue.

I don't have any intentions of buying the grill mate seasonings. The coupon might work and certainly worthwhile clipping the coupon to see what happens.

I picked up the Good Belly Probiotic juice at Jewel yesterday. It was located with the orange juice. They did not have a large display of it. I got the immune version of it, which did not have any added sugar. The two other versions of it had lots of organic cane sugar. I passed on the Starry drink. Yes, one of the versions has high fructose corn syrup, but they also have a diet version, but they were out of that. They only had the diet version in small cans.

Jewel also has their Breyer's Reese's ice cream on sale for $3, and there is a $.50 off coupon in J4U. Even without the coupon, $3 is a good deal, and I am a big fan of Reese's peanut butter cup. All the rest of the Breyer's ice cream is regular price.

The 6 corners location wouldn't take a valid manufacturer's coupon on Friday($1.50 off Breyers.) Even the customer service counter said no. Not worth it to pursue further. First time for everything.
That being said, I love this thread and the advance peek at upcoming weekly ad highlights and sales.

Just no? No reason given? Like they just weren't feelin' it?

Mixed bag at 2 Jewels in Schaumburg today. First one had no free Starry and no coupon mini taters. Offered to substitute some other potatoes called "Steakhouse Bakers.", 1 3# bag rather than 3 1.5#ers. These were 2" long russets - I guess you're supposed to make mini baked potatoes? I passed, prefer the little ones to make salad, etc.

Second one had Starry regular, no diet. Brief tangent: I'd prefer Starry throwback (a version with real sugar vs corn syrup) but there is no such thing plus how do you throwback to a new product anyway. No mini taters and the produce guy said there's not much point in a raincheck since there won't be more. I got a raincheck anyway.

Yesterday we got Late July tortilla chips for 99¢/10 oz bag at the Willow&Pfingsten Jewel (no Starry, no potatoes). Excellent, wanted more, price checked them at Schaumburg store, got "item not on file" and didn't want to spend the effort to have a clerk figure it out. At Target, if an item was not found (usually long-orphaned stock) they would sell it for 95% off either original price if marked or best guess if not.

Oh, and Nancy, at the second one all Breyer's flavors were $3.

When I went to the Jewel on Chicago Ave. Saturday, they had lots of the 18 ounce potatoes. I got one yellow baby, and one baby fingerling potatoes. I love the fingerling potatoes, but they charge a ton for them at the farmer's market. I still also have two large potatoes left over from the five pounds of potatoes I got from Henry and the farmer's market right before Christmas, and I decided that my sister would say that they were too large. I also had 10 pounds of Henry's #2 potatoes to use up. I finished up those last week. All they had for the Starry was the regular and not the diet, and so I passed.

I am going to go to Jewel again to get some more cuties and some Breyer's Reese's. When I went to Jewel on Saturday, they would not take my debit card, and I only had $17 in cash on me, and so I had to ask the guy at self checkout to take a few things off my bill. I figured out why they would not take my card. I ordered $167 worth of plants on Thursday on line, and I paid with my debit card and pay pal. The same thing happened to me a year ago when I ordered my plants. The bank froze my card. I asked them today why they froze my card, and she said it was because of pay pal. She said that pay pal is bad news, and if I would have paid with just my card, it would have been okay. I said I thought pay pal was safer, and she said no. Hope this helps, Nancy

What I have noticed Kosher Coke (made with cane sugar) is how vigorously it foams compared to Coke made with high fructose corn syrup.

Should be the same product. The sugar substitution is the only differentiator.

I think the Mexican Coke sold in bottles at Costco have cane sugar as well. Not sure about the kosher part for it though.

The "kosher" part is a bit nuanced but not very mysterious. Just means that someone knowledgeable about the laws was involved in the process. Usually involves an inspection of the ingredients and verification that any equipment that comes in contact with the product or component ingredients has been adequately sanitized to remove any remnants of prohibited ingredients. May well be that regular Coke with sugar or Mexican export Coke is 100% acceptable for Passover consumption but unless there's a guy there to certify the process you won't get a lot of buy-in from the observant consumer community. Sort of an "if a Kosher tree falls in a forest..." issue.

I was at the Jewel yesterday on Touhy at the Village Crossing, and they were out of the $.99 bags of cuties, and the $.99 potatoes, and I did not see any of the probiotic juice or the starry either. I got 2 cartons of the Breyer's Reese's ice cream, and I purchased one of them separately, thinking if I used my second J4U account to purchase it, I could get it for $2.50. It was marked 2/$6, but I got charged $4.50, and then they took $.50 off for the coupon, and so it ended up being $4. I considered going to customer service, but I was in a hurry to get home, and maybe you had to buy two cartons of it to get it for $3. Somebody said here that their CS is not that friendly anyway.

I have good luck contacting Jewel via facebook direct message. You would need to take a picture of your receipt and coupon, then repeat what you were told. Ask them what is the policy.

We have very nice customer service at my Jewel in Arlington Heights -- but they do have rules. They're just very polite and apologetic when they explain the rules. This is not, however, limited to Jewel. I find that every reward program is altering rules to try to keep customers but still stay ahead of inflation. It helps if I remind myself that they do still have to make money on this stuff if they want to stay in business.

I've also had success with FB Jewel DMs & their corporate customer service # provided by the stores. This just wasn't worth the time for a couple bucks. I bought the same ice cream 10 minutes later at Marianos for $1 more. I like voting with my dollars.

Jewel had a sign that all of their Breyer's ice cream was 3/$9. All of the three that I scanned, scanned 2/$9, and I saw lots of people buying it thinking it would scan 3/$9. I was tempted to tell a couple that got two cartons of Breyer's that it scans wrong, and to go to customer service. I went to customer service, and told them what happened, and they did not go to check out the sign, and so I assume they have dealt with other customers concerning this too. Now when they overcharge you, when you go to CS to get your money, you have to insert the card you used to pay for it. They don't give you cash.

They had Cabot shredded cheese on sale for $3, and they had a $1 off J4U coupon, and so I only paid $2. The J4U coupon was only good on the 4 cheese Mexican, and the whole milk mozzarella cheese. I did get the free frozen fruit, but they had a sign up, informing people that you must use the app to get it free.

I tried one of the green grapes that were $.59, and it was not that great, and so I passed on it. All the grapes were from Chili.

Jewel had a new frozen pizza that was labeled as Detroit style. It was manufactured by Champion foods.

Anybody here spend $25 on approved frozen foods yet? I have spent $20 so far. Healthy Choice is one of the approved brands. I think Edy's ice cream is another approved brand. If I spend another $5 on any approved frozen by 3/31, I get $5 back. Hope this helps, Nancy

The White Castle hamburgers | cheeseburgers 12-pack is a good deal, particularly when you recall how much it was charging for a 6-pack last week ($5.49).
I might go to the ridiculed Six Corners Jewel (on the #54 Cicero bus) to buy this.
Do not buy the 12-pack soda here. Even if your three 12-packs were all Pepsi products, you would still spend $4.32 each for them. (Get them at Food 4 Less or Mariano's for $3.99.).

Thanks, Artie. Do you know if the targeted specials are in the regular 8 page flyer for those specific stores, or will there be a separate supplement? There is a bimonthly "Specialty Guide" but that has skirt for $8.99.

FWIW, the JewelOsco website ad display is "powered by Flipp" and it's pretty easy to change the store with the ads as long as the current setting is "shopping at" vs delivery.

If any of you have the 'flipp' app these targeted ads usually will show up on it.

I don't believe the targeted ads are included in the regular flyer. In fact I'm not even sure if they even print it seperately. The special flyer "Specialty Guide" is online now and it's good thru May 30th :D . I used a 60031 zip code for the Waukegan Green Bay road store ad to access it. At the bottom will will be a complete list of all stores participating. Hope this helps,Tjr

    Hi,

I was hoping there would be egg sales this week.

I have Just4U coupons for Ramadan related products, though I have not found these products at my Highland Park Jewel. I just have to go to the right Jewel to find the products covered by these coupons. I just have to have my Egyptian rice!

Cathy, it looks like the nearest-to-the-North-Shore Ramadan Jewel is the one near Old Orchard. In addition to the Egypt's Best rice @ 7.99/10#, there are rose and orange blossom water for 99¢, and apricot qamar al-din for 1.99. The apricot product is used to make an interesting sounding apricot nectar drink, possibly in combination with the orange blossom water. Prices are good all month.

The Black-targeted specialty guide, like the Latino one, is good for 2 months and doesn't feature coupons. Some prices look to be a little better than other Jewels - I think the Glory greens, for example, were $2.99 in Grayslake while they are advertised as $2.50 in Homewood.

The $5.99 skirt steak sale was a half-page overlay on the flyer in today's newspaper. The overlay included some other Latino items on the front and a bunch of general Easter merch on the back. Probably included here because the nearest Jewel is on Lewis Av. Best deal is buy a tulip bunch @ 6.99 and get a free umbrella.
