When I was in the downtown Evanston Whole Foods yesterday, they had regular red cherries on sale for $2.99 a pound, and organic ones on sale for $3.99 a pound. They only had one bag of the organic ones to choose from though.

From Chile? My experience with Chilean cherries has been very lacking in sweetness.

I don't have the package anymore. I don't eat cherries, but my wife said they were very good.

I was at Jewel today, and they had cherries on sale for $3.99. They were from Chili. I did not buy any. I don't buy imported cherries.

I actually bought a lb. or so last week from Jewel at 1.99 per. Jr said they were excellent, and scarfed them down before I could try one.
