Thoes close to me know Jelly Bellys are my favorite sweet. So when I found out that they had a new product out I jumped to try it. I recently get a few packages of Bean Boozed delivered to my door. It is a game in a box with a evil twist. Each box contains 10 of Jelly Bellys classic flavors and 10 new. The new beans resemble the classic colors and looks but have a much different finish. The new flavors are skunk spray, pencil shavings, rotten egg, toothpaste, ear wax, vomit, booger, moldy cheese, baby wipes & black pepper. It was worth one go around to see what they were like. The rest I am hoping some LTHers will try at the pot luck.

    Justin-

The last time I visited your business, I tried raicilla. I think I'm good with the weird wacky stuff for now. :)

P.S. At first blush, the baby wipes don't seem nearly on par with some of the other "flavors" (like vomit), but I think it's a trap because they don't say whether they're used or new baby wipes. I'd avoid that color entirely if I was playing this game.

I saw all of those flavors (and even more strange ones) when I toured the Jelly Belly factory last summer. I think they are just trying to recycle some of the Harry Potter flavors that they crreated before that fad went bust.

I got three boxes, so FIGMolly and I gave it a whirl. Some tollerable, some good and some are just plain gross. The vomit, rotten egg, skunk spray and moldy cheese are nasty. I liked the Black Pepper & toothpaste.

Did you get any sardine? Those were a real disconnect!

Someone that I work with brought the Bean Boozled in and it was fun. What she did was just put them in a bowl, by her desk and didn't tell anyone of the rancid flavors. By the end of the day, everyone was crowding around just trying to get the Rotten Egg, Boogers are throw up. It was great fun.

stevez's right. The sardine was by far the most intolerable of the Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans selection. But did anyone try the grass? That was actually quite good!
Man : I can't understand how a poet like you can eat that stuff.

I think I had grass and found it to be not my preferred odd flavor (I do really like the pepper) but not bad. I think I actually ate the two sardine ones (once, dared by Sparky) but I spat one out: IIRC, earthworm.
