Ready? Ways to use two decent sized green bell peppers for a household that doesn't like green bell peppers. Go!

Feel about the same. Sauteed a bunch of them in evoo with garlic, onion, oregano, s&p and white wine (used to produce steam, then let it reduce) and have been using it as a tasty condiment for burgers, steaks and sausage.

Singe/char skin on a flame. Put in a bowl. Steam. Peel.
Slice. Olive oil. Herbs. Garlic. Wee bit of vinegar.
    Marinate.
    Pile on a giant sandwich.
    Pile on scrambled eggs.
    Pile on a pork chop.
    Pile on ice cream.
Make a PBR chocolate ice cream float with peppers.
    Hold my beer . . .

Thanks. I was thinking I needed to do something along what you both suggested.

    Hi,

You can make pepper and egg sandwiches, then drown it in hot sauce.

Give your peppers to a neighbor, because life is too short to torture yourself.

You could freeze it, then pull it out in the fall when those type of dishes are attractive to make.

I haaaaaate GBPs but my Guinea pigs love them. In case you decide you just don’t want to deal with them, happy to give them a good home lol!

And I can trade you for just about any other garden goody (the tomatoes are huge and deeeelicious this summer!!!)

If anyone is in the area and wants these peppers, you can have 'em. Mr. X wasn't particularly enthused by any of the suggestions proposed. Otherwise, I'll see if I can pawn them off to a neighbor. ;-)

    Trade up.
Toss em in the yard, and wait for squirrels to come sniffin.
    Make stew with the squirrels.
Throw the peppers away after - maybe save half of one for the holy trinity if you wanna do your stew Louisiana style.

In my neighborhood, we might get the squirrel's cousins sniffin around. City rat stew...no thanks. I'd rather eat that PBR chocolate ice cream float with green peppers that GWiv keeps touting.

Chop up and make chili, make philly cheesesteak sandwiches, make peppers, potatoes, onions and Italian sausage bake in the oven, make omelets with chopped up peppers and other things, make swiss steak. Anyway that is how I use green peppers.
