Here is a little self promotion. However, it is a good, clean fun event. Every month MAS hosts Wine University, usually the last Thursday of the month. It is a semi-comprehensive understanding of one varietal from four to five different regions, usually a French, South American, North American and Australian and any other country we can get our hands on. What we do is have a one hour tasting and discussion of the wines, grapes and regions and then do a four to five course dinner paired with the different wines. All this for the low, low price of fifty bucks, not including tip. And the up side is you can drink as much wine as you want. They are a lot of fun, much better than some wine classes I've been to. They run about two and a half hours and start at 7:00 pm. It is a new class every month, so if you want info on them you can post here or email me.
