    Insane story.
    Customer gets sick, breaks reservation, gets charged 250, is denied refund from owner, gets credit card company to refund the money, owner tracks him down on social media and DMs him nasty email, he goes public and the Internet is angry

    Sounds like the customer had something like a Chase Sapphire credit card which has built-in trip cancellation insurance that reimbursed him for the $250 nonrefundable fee. Seems odd that the restaurateur didn't get paid, but perhaps somebody here can cast more light. Did the merchant agreement with Visa somehow leave her without the $250?

    In any event, she probably burned more than $250 of social capital, especially given that Table had to shut down all its SM.
