Diners leave $4,400 tip, and then waitress is fired

Hi- I just ran across this on Yahoo news. A group of people dined at a restaurant in Arkansas, and they each left a $100 tip. The total tip came to $4,400, and so some people must have given more than $100. Her boss told her that if they did that she would have to share the tip with the rest of the staff. Somebody then took the waitress outside, and handed her the money so the owner would not see it. Her boss then decided to fire her. She had lots of student loans she was going to pay off with the money. The guy that handed her the money then started a gofundme page for her, and another restaurant offered her a job. The owner has received all kinds of bad publicity for firing her. Here is the article.
