I won't make it--not returning to town until June. I had been hoping to nip on over to Kaiser's in short order after making a Wells Bros./Racine run in mid-March, but I ran out of time. Wells Bros. was good not great, making me question whether a great pie at Kaiser's might overtake Wells Bros. as my pre-eminent thin crust pizza in existence.
Someone do a well-done sausage/green pepper and report back, please? And if you're really feeling frisky for EC's BDay, t'row him in the pizza oven like the postman in GoodFellas!

Kinda sorta off-topic (note the asterisks), while in Salerno, Italy I made a return trip to Pizzeria Trianon--descriptions on my Facebook post--because they were one of the very first pizzas in Naples (1923), and the Salerno location is their second and only store. And I wasn't about to schlep all the way to Naples just for pizza.
It was wonderful, as good a Napolitan-style as I've ever had...but truth be told I can get that good in the States, repeatedly, with the advent of the same kind of pizza ovens over here as there, mostly in the last 10 years. The bloom is off the rose, maybe?
