Post #1 - April 28th, 2025, 10:15 pmFor May, the group won’t be heading to Northeast Rogers Park for Nigerian food. After speaking to the owner, and hearing from others who live in the neighborhood who've eaten thee, it seems as though it would be too spicy for some of our group’s palates.
But fear not, spice lovers. We’ll be at Zentli, the Mexican offering from the Libertad group (which also includes the Puerto Rican Estación) and has several somewhat spicy choices on the menu.

All are invited. The optional exchange can be lots of fun — just make something and bring along some, and go home with other interesting meals. Details on exchanging (it's really not too tough) are included here.

I will attend and exchange, though it appears some pre-ordering may be needed. I don't think we want to share a single meat pie. If the food is highly chili-oriented, I might have to order for myself. One can live on coconut rice alone!

There's also parking on Dempster itself. On Sundays, street parking is free in Evanston except in the lakefront area. (Some pay stations elsewhere in town may display otherwise, but that's an error that the city is in the process of fixing.)
