Definitely interested. Weeknights are good most of the time, and sometimes, a weekend is free. Do what works for most but know that I'll be there is there isn't something massively important in the way.

Glad folks are interested, it appears time to throw out some dates and let's have the group decide.

Let's also discuss time. Does 6:30pm work? (I'm fine with any time but realize some may have longer travel times after work)

    Thurs Nov 18
    Tues Nov 30
    Wed Dec 1
    Thurs Dec 2
    Wed Dec 8
    Thurs Dec 9

I can do these dates, though November would be preferred.

Of the dates that Cathy is free, Thursday November 18 works for me (but it would need to be 7 pm, I would be late at 6:30). Wednesday December 1 is excellent any time. I can't make Thursday December 2.

I am not sure about Dec. 8 or 9. They get close to possible holiday travel and holiday parties.

11/30 and 12/1 both work for me. 6:00 is better for me but 6:30 would certainly work.

I've checked the weather forecast for this day, and it looks sufficiently unthreatening. (Cold temperatures, slick road conditions, high accumulations of snow would find me not venturing outside. :x)
I have to remember to operate the 1987 Chevrolet Sprint occasionally so that its battery does not drain.
So please add me to the register. :)

Sorry I can't make it. But I have been there before -- and everything is great. I think this is the only place I've ever been where I would encourage getting the sweetbreads and tongue.

    Sweet Willie,
I regret to write this post, but since yesterday I have been fighting a cold (sneezing, runny nose). Seems like the pre-Covid fall colds. But rather than "tough it out," I should cancel for tonight and rest and have soup.

This seems like a restaurant in which "power in ordering" is desirable, and I will miss your company, but this is for the best.

Remember for parking, do not park in liquor store lot. Plenty of open parking to the south of the restaurant on NE corner of Lee & Algonquin

O.K., here are the photographs I took at Wednesday's LTHF dinner @ Mehanata.
Three of them are good, but on the fourth one, no matter how many times I tried shooting it, I had a slight twitch in my arm when pressing the shutter button, and so it looks a little fuzzy. :( Click on the thumbnail, or if it doesn't appear, the symbol of the broken image, and the full-sized image shall appear in a separate tab.

    Here is the Lincoln Square amusement park which people mentioned, but which I could remember only from reading about it at this World-Wide Web URL. Dr. Neil Gale, Ph.D. sporadically posts here on LTHF, but I've noticed that when he does, a long(er)-standing member of the forum usually makes a snarky reply to him. {It does seem to me that he was a victim of drama on faceb 00 k when after disclosing that a member therein had posted false information, he was kicked and banned from the group because that member was the group's moderator. :x }

Again, most of the information I dispense originates from a link on my regular bookmark page. You really should spend hours going through it.
