It has been much too long since we have all gathered to eat dessert and enjoy each other's company. I hope everyone can attend and will feel comfortable unmasked - we are asking that you only attend if vaccinated.
New people are welcome to come. A light, vegetarian-friendly meal will be served. Everyone is asked to bring a dessert to share - and everyone can take extras home. I can seat 10 people - let me know if you can attend.

    Hi,

There is nothing on my calendar to prevent this.

I will be there. Dessert to be advised.

    Thank you for hosting!

    Hi,

I am very sorry to advise I cannot make it.

I have been sick this week. Everything postponed this weekend is going over to next. I will not be around.

    So sorry!

I haven't been on the boards in quite some time and something made me look. Alas, a new dessert exchange. The calendar is clear. I would like to attend, although I probably won't be able to eat any of the desserts. Mine will be made without milk or nuts, just need to decide what it might be.

Ms Ingie - Even though you may not be able to eat everything, I look forward to having you there.

I'm kind of thinking of making a Old Fashioned Raisin Pie. Is anyone adverse to that?

Ingrid - raisin pie sounds great - I can do mine without nuts...
planning an applesauce tea bread easy to leave out the nuts.
also has no butter or milk
Is there anything on the "no-no" list?

That is sweet of you. Right now it's just anything from cow's milk and nuts.

    Hey Sue,
I am so sad that I missed this Dessert Exchange in April. And it looks like this was the latest one.
Do you know if there has been any other discussion of additonal Dessert Exchanges in the near future?

There is nothing currently scheduled - if you want to schedule one for August, that would be great.
